Is this course suitable for someone with no programming background?
Yes! The course starts with the basic concepts of AI Agents and gradually guides you through installing OpenClaw. Even if you have no programming experience, you can keep up. We will teach Docker deployment, API connections, and Skillset configuration step by step, focusing on practical application rather than deep coding. Basic computer skills (such as installing software and using terminal commands) are recommended. If you have some experience using AI (like ChatGPT), you will learn faster.
What is OpenClaw?
OpenClaw is an open-source personal AI Assistant (commonly known as "Lobster" 🦞) that can run on your own computer, phone, or VPS. It can automatically help you handle tasks through channels you already use, such as WhatsApp, Feishu (Lark), WeChat Work, Discord, etc., like replying to customers, generating reports, managing calendars, and more.
What hardware or software do I need to prepare?
A computer that can run Docker (Windows / macOS / Linux)
Optional: VPS (such as AWS, DigitalOcean, local cloud servers in Hong Kong) for 24/7 operation

Is the course online or in-person? Are there recorded sessions?
The course is primarily conducted through online live sessions (Zoom), with small class sizes for better interaction. All classes provide recorded videos + materials + configuration files for easy access if you miss a class or want to review. Corporate training can be arranged for in-person or customized times.
Does OpenClaw have security risks? Will the course teach how to protect against them?
AI Agents have higher system permissions, so security is indeed a concern. The course specifically includes aCybersecurity module, which will teach you how to:
- Use virtual machines or containers for isolation
- Follow the principle of least privilege
- Manually review high-risk operations
- Avoid using personal main accounts directly
